Dr. Samantha Hayes, founder of Beyond the Screen Families, brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the mission of empowering families to create enriching, connected lives. With over 20 years of experience as an educator, Samantha has served as a classroom teacher, administrator, and leader in higher education, overseeing teacher education programs. Throughout her career, her work has been grounded in fostering learning, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
As a mom, Samantha understands the joys and challenges of raising children in a tech-driven world. This blend of professional insight and personal experience inspired the creation of Beyond the Screen Families, a resource for families seeking practical, meaningful alternatives to screen time.
