What makes a game fun, fair, and impossible to stop playing? During this Spring Break Game Maker Enrichment, students will step into the role of game designers, exploring how games work and then creating one of their own.

Across three days, kids will play and analyze board games, learn the fundamentals of game design, and design, build, and test an original board game from start to finish. Through guided play, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, students will bring their ideas to life and leave with a completed game to take home.

Lunch: Please send a packed lunch for a short, minds-on/hands-off lunch break.

All materials included.
Space is limited for a small-group, hands-on experience.

Your child’s spot is not reserved until both payment and the required registration form are completed. After you submit payment, you will receive an email with the registration form link. Please complete and return this form promptly — your child may not participate until we have it on file.
We understand that plans can change. When eligible, families may choose to receive a class credit in place of a refund. Credits are valid for 12 months and may be applied toward any future Beyond the Screen Families class or experience.

Cancellations made more than one week before the start of class are eligible for a full refund minus a $5 cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within one week of the class start date are subject to a $20 cancellation fee.

Once the class begins, refunds and credits are no longer available.
