What happens when curiosity meets real scientific investigation? During this Science Detectives Summer Enrichment, students step into the role of scientists: asking questions, designing experiments, and using evidence to solve daily “mysteries.” Led by a certified and experienced educator with over 20 years in the field, this small-group enrichment is intentionally designed to feel more like a hands-on lab than a traditional camp, giving students the time and guidance to think deeply and work thoughtfully.
Across five days, students explore core concepts from physics, chemistry, and everyday science through carefully structured experiments and challenges. They’ll make predictions, test hypotheses, collect observations, and analyze results. They will build both scientific confidence and real investigative skills. Campers leave with tangible projects, science tools they’ve created or used, and a stronger understanding of how scientists think, test, and revise ideas in the real world.
Lunch: Please send a packed lunch for a short, minds-on/hands-off lunch break.
